"Captain!"
Hook had been in his quarters on the Jolly Roger when the call came from Smee. He'd left his fellow pirate in charge of his new crew of lost boys and he couldn't help rolling his eyes. Usually a call like this meant something was broken or they needed the Captain to settle some point. They were still tied up to the docks of Storybrooke, honestly, how much trouble could these boy cause?
He grabbed his hook off his desk as he passed and screwed it into place before he took his coat off it's hook. Once he finally looked the part of the fearsome pirate Captain Hook, he found it helped his authority with boys if he played up the part, he strode out on deck. "Yes Smee...what is it?"
Smee hurried up to Hook, a dripping wet bottle in his hands. "Captain! I was teaching the boys how to use the fishing nets when one of them got this caught in the line. I don't kn..." He kept going but Hook wasn't listening anymore. He swiped the bottle out of Smee's hands, has he had a dark feeling that he knew what it was.
"Thank you Smee, go back to your nets. Let the Captain take care of this." Hook immediately returned back into his cabin and locked the door tight. If his hunch was right, he didn't want the Evil Queen or the Crocodile to get wind of this. He settled into his chair and looked the bottle over...and rubbed it.

What would be more difficult was this sense of magic he had flowing through his veins. It was making his head ache beyond belief. Maybe it would have been different had he actually wanted all of this, but he hadn't and the end result was just noise.
And naturally, just as his headache began to die down and he'd gotten comfortable despite all the jerking of the bottle, he felt a rush of magic swirl around him and drag him out of the bottle.
When his vision cleared, he found himself in what had to be the cabin of a ship, facing a rather disruptable (if alarmingly handsome) pirate with a hook for a hand.
"Oh bloody hell" is what he tried to say, wanted to say. What actually came out was "Master mine, my will is thine."
He was in so much bloody trouble.

Date: 2013-12-19 12:59 am (UTC)He didn't know who he was now. The Genie of Hearts seemed a bit much.
"It's Will," he said finally.
His head started buzzing again and he repressed a wince. If this was what Cyrus had to deal with then he had to give him credit for handling it without going crazy. Or maybe it was just that he was used to it.
"Right, well, here's the thing. You get three - just three, mind you. You can't go wishing for someone to die or fall in love. And no changing the past. Or asking for more wishes."

Hook gave Will a considering look at the wince and he figured one of his first guesses were true. "You seem to be guessing more then saying. Are you new at this?

Date: 2013-12-22 02:57 am (UTC)As he started winding down, he kicked out the other chair in his cabin towards Will. "Sit down, you look like you need it." He reached behind him and grabbed two bottles with his hand and placed one in front of the genie while he pulled the stopper of the other out with his teeth. "I could use some rum, how about you?

"I can't tell you how much I could use some rum right now," he said as he pulled the bottle towards him.

Date: 2013-12-22 04:13 am (UTC)"Drink up. There is plenty where that came from." He always made sure to have a generous supply and since his current crew were below drinking age, there was even more him.
Noticing the rubbing of his wrists, he took a long drink before nodding to them. "So how did you get them?"

Date: 2013-12-22 02:54 pm (UTC)He opened the bottle and took a long drink, waiting for the buzz to hit him. All he got was a pleasant sort of feeling, almost like a tickle. He took another gulp but there was nothing. No buzz, no feeling of tipsiness or giddiness - just a slight tickling sensation.
"Oh, bloody hell!" he wailed. "It's not bad enough that I'm a genie but now I can't even get drunk? You have got to be kidding me."
He gave the bottle a last longing look then slid it over to the pirate. There was no sense in drinking the rum if he couldn't even enjoy it.
"That's a long story. Let's just say be careful what you wish for and leave it at that."

Date: 2013-12-28 05:06 am (UTC)Hook knew it wasn't polite or even fair, but he couldn't help laughing at Will's outburst, but then he was a pirate and never claimed to be either. Still, apart of him still felt for the new genie. If there was ever a situation that warranted a drink, this was it and being unable to have that relief was cruel.
Of course, come to think of it, the idea of a drunk genie was a bit terrifying so perhaps it was for the best.
"My deepest apologies mate." He said as re-stoppered Will's bottle and placed it aside before drinking again from his. "Must have been a hell of a wish."

Date: 2013-12-29 05:10 am (UTC)"Trust me...you won't have to remind me of that." He said darkly before he took a long drink of rum.

"Well, good. Long as that's clear, then."

Date: 2014-01-02 03:30 am (UTC)Hook closed his eyes, took a deep breath and when he opened them, had a much more relaxed expression. No point in making Will's day any worse then it already was with a pirate captain in a bad mood.
"Where are my manners? The rum won't satisfy but would you like sometime else? I have water and something called cola that the crew is fond of." So fond that he'd had to lock it in his cabin to stop them stealing it out of the mess.

Date: 2014-01-06 11:31 pm (UTC)"We're docked outside Storybrooke, mate."

Date: 2014-01-12 12:03 am (UTC)The more he thought about it, though, the more he realized that this was the palce place he could at the moment. Assuming Jafar still wanted a genie, he'd have to track him down and even if he did find out where he was, he'd have to deal with the Dark One and the Evil Queen.
Right now, he wasn't going to think about any of that. He was just going to open his coke, suck it down like there was no tomorrow and just... wait to see what his new master (and how he hated that word) wanted next.
